Job Description:
Based at our Golden Valley Minnesota site, in the Minneapolis Metro area, this position will report to the Director of Product Management with a focus on supporting product management activities in complex cross-functional product developments
The Product Manager will be responsible for early concept ideation, offering definition, and scope management. Key performance metrics may include (but not limited to) consumer experience & product quality indicators (customer care interactions, star ratings, etc.), as well as profitability to the gross margin line (revenue, gross margin).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set and steer the direction for Resideo's next generation smart home products.
- Value proposition definition including offering scope & pricing
- Market/opportunity analysis and business modelling
- Work closely with engineering to be the voice of the customer, turning technology into products that solve real user needs.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to help the team make the right trade-offs between capability, cost, complexity, and other factors.
- Determine product roadmap and go-to-market strategies
- Travel up to 25% of the time
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in product management, product development, or technology strategy role
- Successful commercial launch of an embedded hardware product
WE VALUE:
- MBA or Master's degree in a technology or business-related field
- Experience in product management and leading end-to-end product development, from requirements definition to product launch
- Experience practicing Design Thinking processes and methods
- Experience in Waterfall hardware product development & Agile firmware/software development

Resideo is currently seeking a Product Manager to support complex cross-functional product development initiatives, with a focus on smart home solutions. The Product Manager will support Resideo's Air & Water businesses. Scope of the role will evolve into developing hardware solutions that include connected software services, business model evolution, and end-to-end customer experience management.
