Job Description:

Technology Cloud Asset Manager manages the operations of the IT procurement and inventory management function within Cloud. Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software utilized in the Cloud. Technology Cloud Asset Manager minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Design and execute Cloud asset management policies, procedures and processes.

  • Coordinate with management in utilizing the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data.

  • Develop Cloud asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location and contracts.

  • Manage Cloud asset reconciliation and reporting.

  • Assist in Cloud inventory management, provisioning and audit activities.

  • Analyze provisioning effectiveness and resolve systemic issues.

  • Collaborate with C4E team and Asset Management andConfiguration Management teams on process improvements, contract negotiation, contract renewals and vendor management activities.

  • Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget.

  • Monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standards.

  • Collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances and service improvements.

  • Ensure audit compliance for the Cloud assets.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Working with third-party suppliers on software and hardware provision, troubleshooting, updates and improvements.

  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to co-ordinate utilization of Cloud asset management tools.

  • Develops Policy, Standards, and SOPs for end-user documentation and instructions.

  • Document all user requests and actions taken in ServiceNow ticketing system.

  • Presenting key asset management data and reports to managers and teams outside of the organization.

  • Development and execution of Cloud Asset Management policies, procedures and processes. Including identification, accountability maintenance and location of assets.

  • Forecast and budgeting management, as well as financial asset planning.

  • Effectively managing asset life cycles to improve quality control of assets, including software, hardware and cloud technologies.

  • Supports continuous improvement in the process and quality of the operations

  • Forecast and produce procurement strategies for IT assets across an organization.

  • Effectively plan development and upgrades procedures for software, hardware and other IT equipment.


  • Experience with Cloud platforms

  • Experience with computer programming

  • Competency in Microsoft platforms and office automation suite (outlook, excel, PowerPoint, word)

  • Work with aggressive timelines, in a team environment with a willingness to learn and grow

  • A good understanding of the Container Lifecycle and forecasting models for for Cloud utilization

  • Ability to work with Excel, Tableau and/or other reporting tools
