Best Buy is seeking a Sr. Director, Engineering - Online Experiences where you will play a key role in shaping the future of Best Buy's customer facing digital experience. You will be responsible for leading a large team delivering best in class digital experiences to our customers on our website. Accountabilities for this position span across software delivery, engineering practices, development frameworks, inclusive leadership, team and organizational design, and pioneering of new ways of working.

About The TechnologyOur systems are built on, and we look for experience with these technologies:

  • Java, ReactJS, Python, REST, JSON

  • Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure like AWS / GCP / Azure

  • Jenkins / ArgoCD / GitOps tooling

Minimum Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in the software engineering field and an engineering degree or 14 years of equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in agile software delivery

  • 8+ years of increasing responsibility leading teams

  • 10+ years of experience with highly scalable and performant web based software systems

  • 5+ years of experience with front-end frameworks (AngularJS, VueJS, React)
