Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis in accordance with relevant Good Manufacturing & Control Laboratory Practices. • Ensure that analytical microbiology results are checked, approved, recorded and available for inspection. • Ensure equipment used is maintained and calibrated to appropriate standards • Process water & environmental sample collections. • Understand and follow all necessary Health & Safety systems and ensure that work is consistent with safe working practices. • Assist as needed with completion of quality systems processes (e.g. OOS/QDR/CC) in line with current SOP's. To assist with implementation of effective CAPA. • Assist with audit readiness at the agreed level. • Maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping in his or her work area. • Support the laboratory quality systems. • Ensure daily workloads are completed in timely manner.

Qualifications

• Requires a m inimum high school or junior college level biology classes or related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Requires basic understanding of aseptic working requirements • Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to work cross functionally • Experience in food, dietary supplements or pharmaceutical GMP/GLP • Ability to work on own initiative in an accurate and reliable manner.
Preferred
• LIMS and/or other data systems experience preferred
