Job Description:

Arcadis seeks a Senior Water Wastewater Project Manager with 10 years' experience, to join our Water Business Line in our Guaynabo, PR office to lead and direct the development of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects as a client-facing project manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Leverage your experience in water and wastewater treatment facility engineering, water distribution systems, wastewater stormwater collection systems and pump stations including planning, investigations, studies, analysis, designs, and construction administration services and ensuring compliance with codes, statutes, rules, and regulations, as well as Arcadis quality and safety practices.
• Communicate with clients, establishing goals and objectives for project teams, and scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.
• Provide technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer or technical advisor.
• Supervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior level engineers and technical staff.
• Work directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions and lead the growth of client relationships with target clients.
• Lead teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations, as well as developing scopes of work and budgets for various water, wastewater and stormwater projects.
• Participate in professional associations, activities and conferences.

Skills and Abilities

• Project leadership and management experience including demonstrated experience leading and managing small to large size, multi-disciplined, water, wastewater or stormwater projects with construction values ranging from under $1M to several million dollars in the public or private sector.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Team leadership experience including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring.
• Experience in the preparation of construction documents.
• Client management skills, including preparation and development of proposals and client relationship building.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10 years of water, wastewater, and stormwater experience at a comparable engineering consulting firm.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field of study.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in PR and active member of the CIAPR required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 15 years of water wastewater and stormwater experience at a comparable engineering consulting firm.
• Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field of study.
• Technical expertise and experience with wastewater projects.
• Knowledge and experience with the local municipalities in PR.
• Successful record of managing client accounts, assisting in client development and leading project pursuits and pursuit teams, in a collaborative fashion, on a variety of opportunities.
• Active participation in regional and/or national professional association(s).
