Overview of the Role

We are seeking a Senior Account Supervisor to join the Reputation + Advisory team. You ... are a seasoned leader with a proven track record of success in corporate communications or integrated marketing in either a communications agency or an in-house setting. We're looking for a driven professional who can provide expert and creative client counsel, while inspiring and leading teams.

As a member of the Reputation + Advisory team, you will build culture, up-level client work, expand our collective capability, and drive growth. You should be a a big-picture thinker, but also able to turn big ideas into action. You're comfortable leveraging any channel in the marketing mix and have success in media relations. You demonstrate superior communication skills, charisma, and executive presence, and you are hungry to learn and evolve personally, and undaunted by change or complexity. Core Responsibilities:


    • Counsel clients based on broad communications landscape and business goals

    • Drive strategic direction to help clients tell relevant and impactful stories around issues driving conversations today

    • Drive media relations including creating outreach plans, media strategy, message development, management of events, coordination of media tours, effective pitching and training of spokespersons on speeches and presentations and growth of contact network

    • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in thought leadership, executive positioning, and stakeholder engagement programs

    • Help lead operational and financial performance of account teams, ensuring quality work and effective processes

    • Demonstrate advanced writing skills and supervise writing of others

    • Lead staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedback to more junior team members

    • Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities and aiding in new business research and proposal preparation

Qualifications:


    • Possess 5 or more years' experience in agency and/or in-house communications roles

    • Have developed and executed successful media relations programs

    • Advanced writing, editing, and presentation development skills

    • Ideally have experience or understanding of digital communications and community management, specifically when it comes to managing social content for C-Suite or top-tier executives

    • Have strong client management and consultative skills

    • Possess excellent leadership skills, are a superb people manager, and enjoy coaching and mentoring junior staff

    • Have a strong understanding of how to communicate with teams and work from both client and agency perspectives

    • Have experience successfully managing resources and budgets

    • Have experience helping win new business
