In this role, you are exposed to various automation and state of art optimization technologies that are focused in mineral processing operations. Our technology improves the efficiency and reliability of the processing plants. By successfully growing the customer base, this role has the potential to be extended into regional manager in a short period of time. Assesses, evaluates, establishes, and develops opportunities in the Mining & Mineral Processing industry.
Initiates, builds, and enhances relationships with customers and strategic partners.
Drives achievable growth in sales forecasting and planning.
While working closely with the Operations team, leads the definition, development, and execution of sales growth strategies and sales / marketing campaigns to achieve organizational objectives.
Gathers, reviews and analyzes information to develop recommendations for new and existing products, innovations and improvement initiatives.
Develops and delivers effective presentations and demonstrations on the value of our offerings to customers and to close sales.
Tracks progress and maintains effective, professional communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders throughout the business development and sales cycle.
Networks with industry groups and professional organizations to establish the presence and reputation of the company.
Job Requirements When selecting candidates, we will be looking for:
Bachelor in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgy, Automation, Electrical, or similar)
Minimum 10 years' experience in process industries
Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and business development
Minimum of 3 years' experience in mining and mineral processing
Automation and optimization knowledge
Proven presentation, relationship building, and sales skills
Resourceful, self-managed, and goal driven but still able to work effectively in a team
Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
Travel (estimated 40%) to domestic and international locations will be required; driver's license and valid passport mandatory
