Position Summary:

Performs delegated patient care tasks and clerical unit duties.  These include but are not limited to: transporting patients, maintaining cleanliness of equipment, performing some aspects of patient care, providing patient registration support, ordering and stocking supplies, running errands, and entering orders in the Meditech system, performing EKG's, splinting and phlebotomy.

 

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

Qualifications

1. 
   

   Position Requirements:

   
   

   Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Employees must possess a LNA certification or a current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification at the Basic or Intermediate level;  BLS certification.

   
    
   



2. Education:  Completion of an accredited EMT (Basic or Intermediate) program or LNA program respectively.




3. Experience: Recent EMT or LNA experience preferred.



4. Special qualifications: BLS certification
