C&W Services is looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Operator to join our team. In this role, you will perform technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility's mechanical, chemical and electrical systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
SHIFT SCHEDULE: *1ST - 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., 4 days on, 3 days off *2ND - 6:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m., 4 days on, 3 days off
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor building systems through SCADA and respond to alarms.
Perform daily inspections of operational areas that may include hazards such as sound, extreme heat or cold, chemicals, high voltage electricity, and heavy equipment.
Perform system scheduled maintenance and other work assigned on a daily basis.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of daily activities, equipment status, and operating parameters.
Review, maintain, comprehend, and follow Work Plans, Sequence of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, P&ID's, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Keep operational areas in a high level of operational readiness, housekeeping, organization, orderliness and free of hazards.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge in the principles of operating and monitoring various systems including:
Electrical systems
Exhaust systems
Centrifugal Chillers and their support equipment
Gas Fired boiler operation
DI plant operation
Centrifugal air compressors
Centrifugal pumps and piping systems
Industrial Waste Treatment Plant Operation
Air systems including CRAC's, VAV's, AHU/MAU's, VLFs
Must be proficient in the use of SCADA systems to monitor and control site infrastructure systems.
Must be able to respond quickly to potentially critical situations, perform rapid, accurate assessments, trouble shoot systems and components to identify causes of failures, determine appropriate corrective actions, and implement these corrections promptly to mitigate the effects of system changes.
Must be able to use basic PC applications, such as Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Must be team oriented and highly collaborative, possess effective oral and written communication skills; work must be extremely reliable, with consistent and dependable attendance.
Able to interpret and work from written instructions and drawings with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in an electronics related field or Equivalent electronics training is a plus, but not necessary.
3+ years relevant experience helpful.
Ability to read, understand, and update mechanical, electrical, chemical, and controls system drawings.
Computer/software skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, and AutoCAD.
Understanding of water distribution systems (CHW, HW, PCW, DIW), exhaust systems (balancing, measuring), pumps, and piping installation methods.
Millwright expertise.
Willingness to handle call-in situations after hours.
