Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or GED, preferred.


• Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.


• Able to work a flexible work schedule which includes swing shift, weekends and holidays. This also includes overtime when needed.


• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.


• Need to have the capability to work in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with other colleagues.


• Need to be capable to working in varying climates and environment.


• Performs work in a manner that is in compliance with all policies and GMP rules. Reports any conditions that may put product quality at risk.


• Performs work in a safety conscious manner that is in compliance with all policies and procedures.  Reports any conditions that pose a safety risk to personnel and/or property.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

• Ability to lubricate equipment, perform preventive maintenance and contamination prevention on all equipment. Lubrication and preventive maintenance activities must be performed in conformance with established standards set forth by the company, including the standards as outlined in the company’s total reliability initiative (“AAROP”).


• Must have working knowledge of the following: use of lubrication tools, hand/power tools, rigging, mathematics, and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance techniques and systems.


• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards/work procedures while performing assigned duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.


• Must be able to operator and maintain hand and power tools such as hand grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill presses and rigging equipment on a daily basis.


• Operation of heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and bobcats.


• Keep all areas and machines clean of leaked or spilled lubricants.


• Achieve company-sponsored MLT 1 certification within one year of start date in position.


• Effectively communicate with team members to support the development of short and long term planning in support of AAROP and the company’s general goals and objectives.


• Accurately complete all work orders and other daily paperwork


• Operation of computers and computerized test equipment


• Must have flexibility to work all shifts including holiday and weekends as required by the job.


• Minimal travel may be required.


• Other duties as assigned.
