Responsible for effectively providing day-to-day supervision of various craft personnel on the shop floor; ensuring work to be performed is well-planned and well-supported; productivity levels are maintained; safety procedures are followed, and customer requirements and ship dates are met in an efficient, timely manner
Responsible for the quality of all fabricated materials
Ensure all production schedules are achieved
Ensure all craftsman are working to an acceptable productivity level for their classification and experience level
Works at an acceptable pace for the experience level
This position is located at the Fabrication Division, Catoosa OK.
Qualifications
1- 3 years experience leadsman
5+ years experience as fitter welder or machine operator / burn operator in steel fabrication industry
Strong organizational skills and attention to details
Knowledge of how to operate and troubleshoot all fabrication equipment
Highly knowledgeable with thorough understanding of how to utilize various blue print drawings
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical information, such as codes(ASME,API-650-620)
Strong supervisory skills to manage numerous craft workers
Basic computer skills; working knowledge of scheduling/tracking materials and completed parts utilizing various software packages
Legible Printing / Handwriting skills; ability to read tape measure
Physical Requirements
Must be willing to work frequent overtime
Must be able and willing to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, aerial work platforms, etc.
Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools
Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures
Work might include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping and occasional climbing onto equipment
Work involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day
Must obtain and maintain an active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening.
Must complete the Matrix Service Safety training.
