As a Budget Analyst you will Interprets protocols from a financial perspective; develops clinical trial budgets, negotiates pricing, and presents budget proposals to executive management.

 

What you will do in this role: 

 


  • You will create new budgets in Excel based upon Sarah Cannon cost and charge information, analyzing each clinical trial protocol in order to provide a detailed counteroffer to the Sponsor's initial budget while meeting established metrics surrounding each budget.

  • You will also negotiate budgets with Sponsors/CROs in order to result in a favorable overall result for Sarah Cannon, while establishing and maintaining business relationships for future negotiations.

  • You must maintain and effectively communicate to executive management statuses for all assigned budgets.

  • You will proactively communicating and soliciting input from clinical staff, management, Tennessee Oncology and others in order to receive timely clarification on protocol specifics, standard of care, billable items and other nuances affecting the budget.

  • You will be attending protocol and budget review meetings and other pertinent meetings to solicit and share information.

  • You must prepare and present all assigned budgets to the Chief Medical Officer.

  • You will collaborate with Contract Analyst to generate final contract for execution.

  • You must utilize the clinical trial management system in order to assist with both historical and new study budget input.

  • You will serve as Site Liaison and point of contact for budget and contract issues for designated Strategic Sites.

 

 

 

Qualifications

What you should have for this role:


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Master’s Degree preferred

  • Experience with budget negotiation preferred

  • Familiarity with clinical research and/or medical terminology
