About the Position:

The Facility & Logistics Director will be directly responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and modifications of the buildings, grounds and equipment, ensuring the constant state of readiness, safety, and security.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Implement and manage logistics systems

  • Plan warehouse and distribution centers for efficiencies in both operations and capacity

  • Organize transportation activities, including storage of inventory, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery.

  • Oversee transportation movement and arranging for services

  • Sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers

  • Advising business on measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility

  • Helping with office relocation or subleasing facilities

  • Ensuring the basic facilities are well maintained and conducting proactive maintenance

  • Managing budgets and cap x spend

  • Ensuring that facilities meet compliance and safety standards

  • Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facilities and equipment

  • Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance

  • Planning renovations, refurbishments and building projects.  Working with contractors, employees, and higher-level executives, with the goal of ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation ensuring a high level of customer services

  • Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers

  • Evaluate and manage budgets and capital expenditures

  • Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements

Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or equivalent work experience. MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Logistics desired

  • Ability to develop high performing teams.

  • 10 years+ industry relevant experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong supervisor and leadership skills

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP or related software

  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory software
