Gallagher Services provides care for the adults with intellectual and development disabilities, who reside in one of our programs throughout Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Harford County, and Anne Arundel County.  

We are currently looking for a Medical Support Professional (MSP). The hours for this position are the following:

• Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm

The Medical Clerk will provide quality clerical and medical supports (i.e.; advocating and attending medical appointments, scheduling, transportation, medical file maintenance, personal care, etc.) to persons with developmental/intellectual disabilities (ID/DD) living in the community. Support people with living the life of their choice and maintaining their health. Responsibilities may vary based on program needs.

This position will require the following:

• High School Diploma required plus two years' experience in personal care, medical care or CNA with one year experience.


• A Valid Maryland Driver's License with a driving record showing no more than 3 points (Driving is an essential part of the job.)


• Medication Certification by an approved DDA course must be obtained within three months of hire


• Maintain certifications and trainings as required in Gallagher Services Policy and Procedures including, but not exclusive to First Aid, CPR, MTTP/CMT, PCP (Person Centered Planning), BBP (Blood Bourne Pathogens) and Abuse/Neglect


• One year experience in ID/DD or related field preferred
