Who we are looking for
The successful candidate must have 15+ years experience designing, rolling out and running an IT financial operating model that is business facing and leverages an enterprise PPM tool (e.g., Clarity) as well as an enterprise General Ledger. The candidate must have proven experience in consolidating a wholistic view of State Street’s IT financials from both a portfolio view as well as a general ledger view in a manner that senior IT and business executives can understand and upon which they can make critical decisions.

What you will be responsible for
As Clarity Project PPM Financial Product Owner you will
Work with all key stakeholders (CIOs, corporate finance and accounting, GTS COO, business executives, etc.) to design the target state operating model for how financials will be managed within Clarity PPM to provide transparency and streamlined management reporting and decision making capabilities.
Serve as product owner to define and rollout a phased implementation of the target operating model.
Ensure consistency across key financial systems.
Develop a robust portfolio as well as general ledger view of GTS financials that can be leveraged by all key stakeholders on both the business and IT sides.
Work with the Business CIOs to provide transparency into all financials and business chargebacks and proactively identify areas to optimize spend.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, finance focused Masters or other advanced degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
15+ years experience working with general ledger and PPM systems to setup and run an IT financial operating model that is aligned and reconciled between the portfolio and general ledger views and on which business case and key strategic decisions can be made.
15+ years experience consolidating annual planning and rolling budget operating models across disparate teams.
15+ years experience developing and implementing strategies related to:
Workforce shape (location strategy, employee/contractor, etc)
Project and portfolio planning and financial optimization (capacity plans, ramp up / ramp down plans, software capitalization, etc)
Optimize portfolio relative to capitalization and deferral goals with predictability around future impact.
Application rationalization / software capitalization.
Developing application total cost of ownership views.
IT investment business case development (ROI, NPV) for more quantified business prioritization and tracking.
Run the bank strategies (outsourcing, etc).
15+ years of financial services experience with a large financial services firm or advisory/consulting firm
