JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst Senior is responsible for preparing management reports and financial analysis as required. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting findings on various financial and operational data. This position will work closely with the Finance Director and SVP of Finance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
* Develop systems to monitor, analyze, and report key operating statistics.
* Assist departmental personnel with budget activity.
* Assist in the preparation of financial projections and reviews with operating departments.
* Assist Manager of Finance in improving efficiency within the accounting process.
* Identify, modify, and ensure completion of all outside reporting required by contracts.
* Continuous improvement of data collection, analytical processes and procedures.
* Primary liaison to cooperate on any problems or special projects.
* Assist all levels of the organization with financial measures of operations and financial processes.
* Development of solid understanding of accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis and forecasting in addition to creativity.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.
* Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel, and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results. Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc. Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
* 5 plus years of Level professional experience in both accounting and analysis.

Education
* Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting
* Master of Business Administration or CPA (preferred)

Skills
* Strong organization, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Excel, Access, Word, and ERP systems is required.
* Strong statistical background with experience in financial projections.
* Macro working knowledge of ambulance operations.

* Normal office working environment conditions; must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
* Physical requirements include speaking, hearing, and visual acuity (close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust/transition focus.

* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing competing requests.
* Computer processing skills with demonstrated manual dexterity.
* Must have sound decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Must be capable of comprehending and following oral and/or written procedures.
* Must be capable of effectively communicating with personnel at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to reach with hands and arms as needed.
