Description

***This is a reserve / casual position based out of Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. The phlebotomist will rotate between sevenskilled nursing facilities. Hours: 5am - 9am with opportunities to pick up noon rounds from 9am - 1:30pm.***

The LTC Phlebotomist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Phlebotomist's primary responsibility is for specimen collections (phlebotomy) and Outpatient Lab/EKG services. The phlebotomist also provides phlebotomy support for units at Central Dupage Hospital. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to computer lab order entry, lab specimen receipt, patient information retrieval, lab reception/clerical duties and functions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Phlebotomy training or certification from a JCAHO accredited school or institution.

• CERT PBT


• One year of previous experience
