Product Manager at Bright Horizons Children's Centers in Newton, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Bright Horizons is looking for a dynamic, high-energy Product Manager to join our Full-Service team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving complex problems that focus on supporting the needs of Bright Horizons staff and the children and parents we serve. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of being able to uncover product opportunities, propose solutions, plan and deliver strong results. This role interacts regularly with cross-functional teams and requires the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively.

What you will be doing in the role:

• Gather and prioritize product requirements in support of product roadmap. Translate market requirements into functional specifications (user stories).


• Coordinate closely with IT to drive product vision and refine product requirements. Define and prioritize a product backlog.


• Manage lifecycle of the product from market requirements to product release, implementation, adoption and iteration.


• Communicate effectively with IT, sales/client services, marketing, operations, finance, accounting and implementation teams and leadership to ensure business and customer goals are met.


• Utilize data to understand customer needs and behaviors as well as business objectives, and enable the team to transform that knowledge into product enhancements and new features.


• Conduct competitive research and analysis.

What we hope you will bring to the role:

• 5-7 years of product management or business analyst experience.


• Bachelor's degree is required.


• 5+ yrs supporting stakeholders by understanding and surfacing business needsthrough a technical lens.


• Strong project management, organizational skills, and an understanding of how to develop functional requirements.


• Ability to build and maintain business relationships across all organizational levels, i.e. peers, vendors, clients


• Prior experience working in and supporting a diverse work environment.
