Big Canyon Country Club is now accepting applications for:

Group Exercise Instructor 

As a Fitness Professional, the Personal Trainer will teach, lead, and motivate individuals through group exercise classes and private personal training sessions. 

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of 4 -12 clients
•    Energize and motivate members throughout the sessions
•    Ensure safety of members in regards to heart rate and exercise technique
•    Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
•    Meet or exceed performance clients expectations
•    Flexible to work day, evening, holidays and/or weekend hours as needed
•    Other duties that may be assigned.

• Always conduct oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of the Big Canyon Country Club


• Respond and provide aid if you are properly trained in medical or other emergencies


• Ability to multi-task in a faced paced, high pressure environment


• Will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics


• Ability to multi-task and stay organized


• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills


• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels


• Must hold current fitness certification from a company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, or NFPT


• CPR/AED certification


• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs

Compensation

Starting pay for this position is $14/hour plus Commission* (paid every check, biweekly)

• 
  Step 1: Applications will be reviewed to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and/or desirables; those candidates will be referred to step 2 in the selection process.
  Step 2:  Hiring managers will contact candidate to schedule interview.

  Step 3: Those candidates who are selected to continue from the interview process will be sent for background check.


• 
  Step 4: Upon successful completion of background check, candidates will be notified and begin onboarding process
