Golder is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida office.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Assist in the preparation of reports for monthly reviews between operations management and the COO and CFO.
Assist in the planning and preparation of annual budgets and related analysis, including preparation of operations budget presentations.
Assist in the implementation and subsequent roll out of Hyperion Planning to be used in the annual budget and monthly forecast process.
Perform monthly review of spend against budget for the support functions and obtain explanation for variances from the functional leads.
Compile data and prepare presentations and reports specifically for use by CEO in preparation for quarterly meetings with the Board.
Support corporate initiatives and projects as needed.
Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis as needed.
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, study proposed changes in methods and materials.
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence and valuation comps.
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
1 year related work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines through proven organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional role
Must be detail oriented and able to sustain knowledge of changing technology
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Willing to take on responsibility ad demonstrate initiative
