Job Description:
Supervise the clerical/administrative/drafting employees that prepare the engineering work prints required for all additions/deletions/rearrangements in the Outside Plant network in accordance with AT&T standards, accounting procedures and safety regulations. Typically supervises day-to-day associate activities such as the engineering job flow, construction scheduling, service order/engineering work order assignment and location records posting, as well as accounting functions such as bill/voucher payments, customer billing, district reports and time reporting. Technical and administrative support for subordinates responsible for all clerical and administrative functions associated with construction and engineering work forces. Manages and directs force resources. Analyzes data, interprets engineering work prints and OSP records, administer company policy. This will include performing quality audits and necessary reviews to insure adherence to and acknowledgement of AT&T policies and practices and correct use of various engineering systems. I.E. JAM, ARES, etc. Manage to expectation, all metrics including budget. Develop processes and plans to insure a successful implementation of the departmental and corporate business plans. Project manage, and prioritize workloads to available resources to meet critical due dates and timelines. Supervisory: YesThis position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
