Assists with recruiting resources and strategies.Determines appropriate advertisement media including the Internet; creates display ads.Participates in job fairs and open houses.Enters evaluations into HRIS system correctly and expediently. Also records said information into performance logs/spreadsheets.Responsible for tracking annual and 90-day evaluations.Tracks competencies for accrediting organization compliance, certifications and compiles and reports this information as requested.Reviews and refers qualified applicants to department managers.In cooperation with Sanford Success Learning Center, sends out the yearly employee training as mandated.Possesses knowledge of various Human Resources forms, i.e., applications, benefit forms, W-4s.Responsible for setting up pre-employment drug screens and physicals.Reviews benefits with all new employees; answers ongoing benefit questions.Send out exit interview packets.Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information of personnel records and information.Processes all facility terminations; complies and reports termination information to appropriate administrative staff.Answers the telephone in a professional manner. Able to answer Human Resources questions; directs other questions/inquiries to appropriate staff for resolution.Enters changes into HR/Payroll system for changes in name, address, marital status, dependents..Formats and types reports, letters, general correspondence for department managers and HR staff.Maintains facility database for personnel records; records are kept confidential.Responsible for verification of employment and maintaining employee confidentiality with outside callers.Managing onboarding process through HRIS system; ensures all documentation is filled out completely and correctly.Participating in Employee Appreciation Committee, and employee engagement activities.Responsible for customer service functions of the Human Resources Department.Assumes the responsibility for successfully complying with federal, state and local employment laws, immigration legislation and affirmative action goals.Responsible for processing or administration of FMLA, ADA, STD and LTD claims.Verifies with employees change of status and W-4 information before processing.Attends facility meetings, prepares reports and analyzes and provides recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.Assist HR Director on a wide range of staff performance issues, evaluations.Maintains a good working relationship both within the HR department and with other MCHS departments.Provides administrative support to the Director of Human ResourcesReviews and approves leaves of absence requests; reviews part-time schedule requests.Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.Assists with Human Resources projects.Performs other duties as assigned.
