Workforce Analytics Big Data Business Analyst at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in Newark, Delaware

Job Description:

The Data Engineering Business Analyst activities include:

• Liaison between Global Reporting and the Technology team
• Liaison between Data Engineering and Global Data Management
• Combining knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used, in order to create functional designs
• Analyzing data requirements to understand the business needs
• Analyzing data requirements to ensure they align with firm-wide governance and standards
• Consulting and guiding on the delivery of applications and solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technology professionals, and executive stakeholders and write detailed requirements for the development teams
• Facilitating user testing by writing test cases, running demonstrations, overseeing defect resolution, creating appropriate documentation (testing guides, progress reports, etc.) and obtaining proper sign-off
• Preparing and supporting change management activities (engaging users, crafting communications, facilitating training)
• Day-to-day project management activities to ensure timelines and scope are met with the highest standard of quality
• Creating training materials and training the end users in the usage of the system

• Required 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology or business analytics

• Minimum 5+ years related work experience in a Business Analyst or similar role

• Experience with large scale environments is required

• Ability to manage and track multiple technical projects to completion

• Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to interact with experts from multiple disciplines, both technical and non-technical

• Experience with Agile methodology for system implementations

Other Preferred Skills

• Experience with BusinessObjects or any other reporting tools in any business process

• Experience with Human Resources, Reporting and Finance related processes
