Job Description:

Job DescriptionOversee the financial modeling and analysis for the annuities line of business. Develop assumptions and sensitivity for decision support and forecasting modeling. Serve as a key interface with the Vice President level finance and business leadership and provides end-to-end financial support.ResponsibilitiesDevelop reports and variance analysis to develop "the story" around monthly results and write resulting commentary. Identify issues that are worthy of further root cause analysis and determine process/data sources to deal with them. Perform more complex data analysis for root-cause analysis. Review results with senior business leaders and partner to determine critical issues. Play a strong role in reviewing work of lower-level financial analysts. Identify needs for further diagnostic efforts and the resources needed to provide them.Support business results and relationships by developing deep analysis to determine future implications of business decisions. Perform end-to-end business case analysis looking at quantitative and qualitative aspects of a decision. Provide initial recommendation based on these analyses. Review work of lower-level financial analysts. Work with other staff to develop recommendations. Influence business partner relationships to deliver results.Build and execute annuity forecasting/planning models utilizing complex models and perform variance analysis for senior leaders. Develop assumptions by working with business leaders in a wide breadth of areas.Provide direct leadership to lower-level financial analysts. Usually directly manages 0-2 financial analysts and/or provides strong leadership to others in various processes.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance or a quantitative field (or equivalent)7-10 years experience in financial roleLeadership experience, direct or indirect, and ability to directly manage othersPreferred QualificationsMasters degreeStrong need to lead up and across to business partners and other finance personnelAbout Our CompanyWith the right company, life can Be Brilliant.
