Hughes has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Engineering Manager. This position will support our manufacturing facility and will be located at our in Gaithersburg, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Manage test development team including coaching and mentoring, hiring, performance management and development


• Select testing methods and techniques to achieve solutions


• Lead operations interface with design teams to review te4stability and develop/document a thorough production test plan early in design process


• Develop and debug the required test hardware and software to be used for production test


• Responsible for correlating between ATE test results and design golden units data


• Responsible for optimizing the production test program for release to production


• Provide on-going support for test program enhancements as needed to ensure high quality and the most cost effective and efficient manufacturing thru put.

Basic Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or relatable field


• 10+ years of experience


• 5+ years test engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills


• Experience with recruiting, hiring and retaining teams
