Position Overview

This position will provide comprehensive customer service and product integration support to Proterra’s President, Proterra Powered and Energy and other leadership team members.  You will be responsible for overseeing the Customer Success function.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities


  • Overseeing pre-sales and post-sales service to customers.

  • Acting as a liaison between customer and manufacturing, sales, field service, order processing, and finance to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquires.

  • Overseeing support of customers encountering problems using the company’s products.

  • Ensure revenue targets are successfully achieved by on time delivery and completion of customer deliveries per contractual terms and conditions.

  • Plan and direct all aspects of the organization’s customer service policies, objectives and initiatives.

  • Responsible for overall satisfaction of customers.

  • Manages the departmental function within the organization.

  • Develops major goals to support functional objectives.

  • Approves policies developed with various sub-functions and department.

  • You will report to the President, Proterra Powered and Energy and collaborate with other Strategic Partnerships team members located at our headquarters in Burlingame, CA and manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, CA and Greenville, SC.

  • Excellent English communication skills.

Your Experience Includes:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain Management (or other related fields) or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience of managerial roles

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the overall department functions.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Travel: 50-75%
