We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:

• As a LPN, you will deliver medical/surgical nursing care to all patients.


• You will works with the RN to assess patient needs, plan, deliver and coordinate care and reassess/evaluate care; to act as a role model for care delivery and demonstrate WE CARE Values in all actions. This includes demonstrating excellent service behavior.


• You will provide a complete and reconciled list of medications to the patient and, as needed, the family, when a patient leaves the hospital’s care. Explains the list to the patient and/or family.


• You will perform modified medication reconciliation processes in settings where medications are used minimally or prescribed for a short duration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program


• Prior experience is preferred.


• BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment.


• Current Georgia LPN License


• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.
