If you are a finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will support the Global Finance Director in Financial Planning and Analysis team for the worldwide Flow Measurement Products business unit. You will also work in conjunction with World Area finance leadership to measure and analyze financial performance.AS A FINANCIAL ANALYST YOU WILL: 


  • Review and analyze financial results for the Flow Measurement Products business unit
  • Coordinate with world area finance team to understand monthly actual financial results and variances, as well as full year forecast
  • Develop and maintain Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheets, Asset Management, and Cash Flow forecast models for monthly forecast and annual business plan
  • Coordinate profit planning process with world area finance teams and global functional groups by identifying and prioritizing opportunities for cost reductions, cost of quality and operational cost improvements, and job moves
  • Assist in preparing Flow Board Meetings, Planning Conferences, and Profit Review
  • Prepare and consolidate Product Group profitability and KOB reporting and analysis
  • Support Global Finance Director in preparation for monthly senior leadership team meetings
  • Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Minimum of two years of experiences in financial reporting and analysis or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills; comfortable with interacting / presenting to all levels in organization            

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • HFM experience preferred
  • CPA preferred
