Lab Supervisor – Medical Technologist

M-F 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; Rotating every 3rd Weekend

Seeking a Lab Supervisor for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. In this role you will: 

• Supervises the performance of Laboratory personnel within specialized sections of the clinical laboratory.


• Orients and trains within these sections and performs testing as needed


• Performs duties with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility. Thorough knowledge of CAP, TJC, CLIA regulations


• Assists Manager and /or Director with projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist (ASCP) with a Bachelors Degree


• 3 years Blood Bank experience required


• 3 years as a MT, supervisor experience preferred
