About the Role


You will be responsible for delinquent reporting to all investors. You'll do this by analyzing and managing risk on default reporting to investors and agencies such as FHA, FNMA, FHLMC and USDA in accordance with the servicing guidelines on behalf of BOK Financial. The position is responsible for ensuring correct Electronic Default Reporting to Mortgage investors and insurers.  A successful day comes when you complete all reporting reviews, verifying files were delivered on time and clear exceptions before the deadline. You will use your strong customer service skills to focus on delivering superior service quality. You must be able to work independently and professionally under tight deadlines.

What You Can Expect


You will review the current status of loans and the current reason for default, which can be up to 1500 loans per month. You'll interact with investors regularly regarding exceptions and resolutions and solving how to clear them. Accuracy is critical in this role as you will enter the codes to be sent in the reoccurring reports. If you enjoy learning, you will have exposure and interaction with all areas of mortgage servicing. You will be able to work with all LOBs on their specific processes and collaborate with your peers and managers daily. Working closely with the claims team, you will ensure loans are cleared from the final reporting.

How You'll Spend Your Time



  • You'll coordinate with the manager and other servicing areas to ensure processes are being used for accurate reporting. You'll interact with external investors and internally with the claims and servicing department.

  • You'll analyze and reconcile EDR reports generated from the servicing system (MSP) to resolve possible report inaccuracies prior to month-end.

  • You'll manage and analyze all month-end Default reporting to Investors and Agencies to ensure reporting deadlines are met.

  • Upon notification of exceptions, you'll work with Investors and agencies to reconcile and clear all reporting exceptions.

  • You'll have the opportunity to positively impact the organization's reputation by accurate and timely reporting to our investors.

ANALYSIS: You need strong experience working with statistical tools, detailed information, and precision to solve problems.

MORTGAGE BANKING ACUMEN: Your knowledge of mortgage servicing and back end default services, laws, and regulations will be critical to success.

COLLABORATION: You enjoy working in teams and across departments with a proficiency to follow-up and follow-through.

COMMUNICATION: You'll need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal and external clients.

TECH SAVVY:  You are able to access multiple systems, including Black Knight MSP, MS Office and learn our processes and procedures quickly.

Education & Experience Requirements


This level of knowledge is normally acquired the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6 years of experience in Mortgage Default Servicing or 7-10 years of work experience.
