Technical Product Support Specialist needed in Indianapolis, Indiana 46256 for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh's client.

What You'll Be Doing:
Provides direct technical support to customers with inquiries on function and usage of products and troubleshooting complaints related to non-functioning electro/mechanical equipment, interface applications or reagents to identify problem area(s) and recommend troubleshooting and resolution. Including use of valid remote diagnostics for remote capable products and knowledge management system.
Collaborates with others for assistance with more complex issues.
Accountable for timely and accurate case handling within the CRM.
Serves as the primary support liaison between company and the customer.
Applies standard policies and procedures in analysis to resolve complaint/inquiries and assesses issues concerning products to determine potential reportable incidents, while adhering to FDA regulations, company and department quality requirements.
Escalates customer's complaint/inquiry to internal resources as necessary for appropriate resolution.
Follows-up with the customer, tracks complaint/inquiry and updates/maintains CRM.
Collaborates with other departments (i.e. field service, sales, marketing, product champion and logistics) by providing requested technical information, and other field requested materials.
Responsible for on-call coverage as defined by product need
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Associate's degree or equivalent military training in medical technology, electronics or related field.
Laboratory knowledge and experience
Ability to gain knowledge of all products within the business area
Ability to utilize MS Office, SFDC, SAP, Acrobat, and other company supporting software
Strong communications/listening skills with a corresponding ability to relay information succinctly and accurately
Ability to positively negotiate with and defuse irate, dissatisfied customers and maintain their confidence and loyalty
