Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Capture Manager

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Capture Manager will identify opportunities and manage the transition from opportunity discovery to the proposal process where the opportunity is closed/won. Lead capture and bid strategies, teaming, and proposal strategies for approved opportunities. Collaborate with Market Teams, operations personnel and proposal personnel aligned with capture opportunities. This positions reports directly to WBB's VP of Business Development.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and prioritize capture opportunities in collaboration with company business development and capture personnel


• Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements -- identify related needs and constraints that impact winning solution


• Conduct long term opportunity capture on multiple opportunities in parallel


• Lead capture efforts to enable compelling proposals and increase Probability of Win

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree


• Minimum 10 years work experience with 5+ years experience as part of successful business development and capture of US Federal government professional services contracts


• Strong organizational and communication skills


• Ability to work within teams and across matrix organizations


• Excellent research and analysis skills

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Security Clearance


• Prior US military experience


• Experience with Defense Acquisition System or federal contracting


• Experience with Department of Homeland Security


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

WORK LOCATION: Reston, VA
