Position Summary:

Chubb Global Information Security is looking for individuals to join their growing team of security professionals to help drive the integration of Threat Intelligence and Detection Engineering and protect Chubb and its customer’s assets and information. This position requires a deep understanding of Threat Intelligence, and modern advanced attacker techniques. In this position you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining technical configurations to protect and detect the latest threats for the SOC.

Responsibilities:


  • Practical application of Cyber Threat Intelligence in an Enterprise environment

  • Develop and communicate industry threat analysis reports for internal stakeholders

  • Interface with strategic leaders across Chubb to drive best practices for cyber security.

  • Participate in Red Team / Blue Team activities to test and improve Chubb cyber defenses and resilience.

  • Build detection and response workflows for endpoint compromise use cases, such as malware, persistence, ransomware and others.

  • Build network-based detections for malicious files in transition, or detecting sensitive data transitioning unauthorized boundaries.

  • Implement strategies to align best practices learned through Threat Intelligence sources, such as FS-ISAC.

 

Required Qualifications:

 


  • 5-10 years relevant work experience in Security Engineering and Threat Intelligence

  • Experience and technical proficiency with securing Windows, Linux, Apps, and cloud

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, Information Management, Information Security or a related field.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Highly organized, possessing strong analytical abilities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 


  • Experience applying Threat Intelligence best practices in an enterprise environment

  • Experience building detection strategies for advanced threats

  • Experience responding to cyber incidents

  • GCIH, OSCP, CISSP or other industry certifications
