Job Description
The HOP Operational Resilience Lead applies their biotech manufacturing expertise and Human Performance knowledge as a member of MA Bio Ops Human Performance to partner in developing and implementing a plan for integration of Human Performance into manufacturing operations.
The HOP Operational Resilience Lead will primarily focus on the socialization, coaching, and mentoring of leaders and individual contributors in the internalization and application of Human Performance principles and practical approaches to anticipate, monitor, respond, and learn in order to improve operational reliability & resilience.
The HOP Operational Resilience Lead will lead elements of the plan to integrate Human Performance principles and practices within manufacturing operations, driving for the necessary results that improve key elements and capacities necessary for Human Performance excellence.
The HOP Operational Resilience Lead evaluates results of plans they lead against organizational goals, adapting and refining integration efforts, as needed.
The role will interact frequently with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operational Excellence, EHS, and Quality.
This position will report to the Head of Human Performance.
ENROLL
Lead, manage, coordinate and support elements of the overall HuP plan to support MA Bio Ops.
Partners with leaders and individual contributors, and lead efforts in their workplaces to strengthen work preparation & execution, work observations, open reporting, and post-work learning, necessary to improve operational reliability and resilience.
Lead community of practice activities designed to engage and enroll.
BUILD
Lead the development and revision of non-technical risk management controls, including pre-Job Briefs and After Action Reviews, among others.
Build and maintain an effective digital technology infrastructure and necessary practices to enhance proactive operational learning.
Lead and/or consult deviation investigations and model methods that improve the abilities of stakeholders and Operational Learning outcomes.
Train and coach leaders in the use of Humble Inquiry and effective methods of operational learning from everyday work.
Lead, facilitate and deliver Human Performance learning activities in various settings. Provide input ad expertise in to development of learning activities.
Lead projects to support Human Performance and organizational capabilities at the site, such as Human Centered Design of Documents.
SUSTAIN
Develop and communicate case studies and success stories of mission moments.
Lead and facilitate periodic Human Performance Maturity Assessments.
Develop methods of measuring performance in alignment with MA Bio Ops Human Performance goals, maintain the support to pivot where applicable.
Collaborate with members of EHS, Quality, Business Excellence, and other functional areas to ensure consistent approaches and leveraging of best practices across Takeda for the improvement of operational reliability and resilience.
