Job Description:

Arcosa Wind Towers is seeking a Blaster for the Tulsa, Ok plant. The blaster operates hand tools or equipment to prepare interior and exterior surfaces for coating operations. This position also operates automated blast system and handheld grit ballast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt.

What you'll do:

• Proficiently operate automated blast system


• Proficiently operate handheld grit blast system


• May metalize surfaces


• May be involved in committees or initiatives


• Perform other duties as assigned


• Follow all safety rules and practices

What you'll need:

• Prefer basic knowledge of hand tools or ability to learn within 6 months


• Prefer knowledge of handheld grit blast system or ability to learn within 6 months


• Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture

Working Conditions:

• Hourly position, this position would require the candidate to be available for multiple shift


• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate multiple shifts and frequent weekend shifts


• This position frequently requires work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays


• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
