Role Summary:


Will establish, implement and maintain policies and procedures that ensure the governance, accuracy, data quality, and compliance of the vendor master database.  Will work closely with Accounts Payable, Procurement, WPS business areas and vendors to gather necessary documents to setup and maintain vendor master records.


In this role you will:


Vendor Master Records (60%)



  • Establish new vendor master records and execute changes to current vendor master records in Deltek Costpoint

  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of vendor master data across the business

  • Work with vendors, process experts, and business areas to resolve master data issues

  • Drive standardization by optimizing processes and implementing best practices


Projects (30%)



  • Develop, document and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents for vendor master data

  • Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas

  • Perform mass vendor master database updates as required


Reporting (5%)



  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting for audit and business needs

  • Prepare reports for key metric reporting


AP Payment Processing (5%)



  • Backup AP Payment Processing

You need to have:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1 or more years of related work experience


We also prefer:



  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office

  • 1 year of vendor master data management experience

In this position, you will work with several areas, including Accounts payable, procurement, WPS business areas, and directly with vendors.
