You excel at proactively prioritizing and resourcing the documentation requests needed to ensure a successful launch for business and system enhancements, new products and new platforms. As the Director of Business and Application Analysis, you focus on improving client satisfaction through the documentation of Business and Systems changes. You possess a detailed knowledge of our operations and understand project interdependencies that could impact or be impacted by the delivery of new products, services, processes or support technologies.

You propel company growth by serving as the liaison for internal teams affected by growth initiatives while leading a team to document finalized business processes and the correlated system functionalities. You are passionate about developing documentation to develop solutions that drive growth while enhancing the client experience. You thrive in an office environment managing a high-performing team and travel to support projects when necessary. You report directly to the Senior Director of Change Management for goals and guidance.

What you will do:

  • Be an inspiring leader for a team of cross-functional analysts by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.

  • Drive the business and application development processes by managing the teams that gather, analyze, refine, validate and document complex business requirements for all services.

  • Support all aspects of integration by ensuring the internal success of new products and services, regulatory requirements, tools, technologies and markets.

  • Optimize production by leveraging technology and ensuring automated and manual process enablers are working and redesigning business processes as necessary.

  • Conduct thorough analyses to form a complete understanding of interdependencies, business risks and risk mitigators that could impact or be impacted by the delivery of new products, services, processes and support technologies.

  • Reduce project risks by ensuring that all defined business rules and policies are documented and implemented as designed.

  • Supervise the translation of high-level business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

  • Improve established processes by developing and maintaining a library of functions and specifications via change management processes.

  • Serve as the liaison between the impacted business units and other supporting organizations, including IT, Billing and third-party vendors.

  • Achieve project goals by aligning operational strategies and technical solutions while complying with all defined business policies and documenting and implementing designs.

  • Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.

Required keys for success:

  • Five or more years of project management experience.

  • Five or more years of telecommunications experience.

  • Seven or more years of business operations analysis experience.

  • Proven track record of analyzing and interpreting data while quickly identifying business issues and opportunities.

  • History of managing projects simultaneously while defining key performance indicators and metrics.

  • Confident when preparing and presenting data-driven technical information to C-level executives and decision-makers.

  • Deadline-driven with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues while working under pressure.

  • Demonstrated initiative to accomplish job duties while using sound judgment and organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and motivate others.

  • Knowledge of process and project management.

  • Familiar with general accounting and billing procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.

  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

How You Will Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Proven track record of building strong partnerships and trust relationship with senior business stakeholders.

  • Previous experience as a technical or functional writer with team management experience.

  • History of leading a strong team of technical and business process writing analysts.

Your Education:
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
