The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for capacity planning, implementation and operations engineering (including on-call) support for the video, Internet, voice services related to network provisioning services. Will be part of the team of engineers for day-to-day technical support of operations of the DNS, and Systems Security Engineering. Responsible for managing performance analysis and capacity planning for DNS.

Responsibilities:

• Manage DNS and Systems Security operations engineering organization that is responsible for the following:


• Architecting and implementing DNS environments that include, but not limited to authoritative, caching and dynamic DNS


• Provide on-call incident management support on a rotating basis


• Ensure training plans and staff training to support technical requirements


• Schedule and manage execution of implementation and upgrade tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


• Minimum 6 years of technical operations experience in a highly technical environment (servers, data networks, LAN, WAN)


• Managed the technical Implementation of at least one complex server/network system


• Minimum 6 years of Experience / Certifications in Unix/Linux or Cisco equipment


• Minimum ten years of experience providing technical support to information or communication service in a high availability environment


• System Engineering Expertise in Server Environments, Wide Area Networking and Local Area Networking


• System Engineering Expertise of DNS.


• Presentation Skills


• System Engineering Expertise of Unix based servers
