The primary responsibility of this position is to provide assistance in all food functions for our residents as directed by the Dietary or Food Services Manager.

Details

Responsibilities:

• Set up, deliver and serve food as directed.


• Assist Cooks in preparing meals and checking diet trays before distribution.


• Prepare kitchen, food and supplies for the next meal.


• Return clean utensils to proper storage areas and maintain a clean, dry work environment free of hazardous conditions or equipment.


• Assist in daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, etc.

Qualifications:

• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.


• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.

Amidst scenic views of the Oregon Coast you’ll find Avamere at Seaside. Residents come from across the Northwest to retire at this special community, where they enjoy easy access to the beach. This location features 53 rooms and offers independent living, memory care, and respite care. Amenities include 24-hour staff, transportation, an in-house bistro, a gym, and an extensive activities calendar. Their engaging employee culture fosters trust and fun through their team, residents, and those just stopping by for a visit. 

Avamere at Seaside team members work diligently to enhance the lives of their residents, helping them stay active. Some memorable events include a classic car parade for memory care residents and various socially distant events amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The independent living wing recently completed an exciting remodel. Renovations include new exciting amenities like: a bistro with a soda fountain, a gym, a theater room, new furniture and décor, and an in-house restaurant, The Sandpiper.
