Coordinator, Merchandise at Arhaus in Boston Heights, Ohio

Job Description:

Responsible for assisting the Special Order Team with all duties relating to the buying and procurement of special order products (Upholstery, Dining, and Bedroom categories).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with stores and vendors on accurate ship dates, changes on orders, and delays. Maintain acknowledgment of orders, including communication of past due purchase orders.


2. Assist with processing special orders by ensuring order accuracy.


3. Helping to set up special order SKUs and enter product information into the digital navigator.


4. Efficiently look up orders, create purchase orders, and run reports to maintain the business on a daily basis.


5. Responsible for maintenance of vendor to vendor fabric – working with inventory to ensure purchase orders are invoiced out and accurate information updated in the purchase order.


6. Accountable for distributing and effectively communicating information to the stores.


7. Responsible for communicating with vendors regarding shipping deadlines for time-sensitive product and purchase orders.


8. Fabric grading daily orders for pricing accuracy.


9. Must professionally and proficiently respond to all store e-mails/voicemails within 24 hours.


10. Other duties may be determined by management to perform the necessary functions of the position, on an as-needed basis.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).


2. Previous Arhaus field experience a plus.


3. High School diploma or equivalent is required – some college preferred, merchandising degree a plus.


4. Good interpersonal skills including a positive attitude, friendly people skills, efficient time management, coach-ability, critical thinking & problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as a productive team member are required.


5. Adherence to the Arhaus dress code (due to vendor visits and store appearances).


6. Strict adherence to Arhaus policies on attendance and punctuality.
