Job Description:

Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and far west Texas, is seeking applications for an Inside Sales Representative in Aurora, CO. 


The goal of the Construction Aftermarket Marketing Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to establish or re- establish, qualify, and maintain contact with unassigned small construction focused customers to increase parts and service sales by making 30 plus calls per day. Marketing Construction customers are typically involved in/around dirt moving & paving applications, own fewer than 5 pieces of equipment & customers identified via DBS, Used Machine Sales, UCC1, Selectory Database, Association Directories etc. The Construction Aftermarket Marketing ISR proactively manages unassigned/marketing account base, employ a disciplined phone call campaign approach; in addition to spending a significant portion of time prospecting for new construction customers via targeted aftermarket sales campaigns. These sales campaigns will be geared towards substantially increasing parts and services sales with currently unassigned construction customers. The Marketing ISR provides retail assistance by qualifying potential customers in order to support ISR team. Direct mail and other promotional activities will be used to drive business to the ISR’s.

  • Leads sales campaigns on increasing parts and service sales with small construction customers

  • Coordinates demonstrations and facilitates the lead qualification processes

  • Maintains and updates accurate customer account information and machine population data

  • Tracks specific account, territory and sales goals using our CRM system

  • Passes parts, service, sales and rental requests to the appropriate ISR or representative in the organization

  • Reference detailed FAQ Document for additional information

  • Establishes and grows value added, consultative relationships with our customers

  • Develops strong positive relationships with our outside sales representative

  • Employs a disciplined phone call campaign, making 30 calls per day

  • Maintains a call cycle with customers on either a weekly, monthly, or semi-annual basis

  • Qualifies accounts, and begins to develop the customer relationship

  • Targets specific customers for sales and promotions

  • Promotes all aspects of the Dealership by promoting sales, parts, service, rental, and Customer Value Agreements for all products and services represented by Wagner Equipment & Wagner Rents

  • Performs simple needs analysis to determine individual customer's needs and provide solutions to fit those needs

  • Knows and can communicate effectively about various Dealer products and services

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • College Degree in any discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3-5 years in outbound phone sales preferred

  • 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience

  • 3-5 years customer service experience

  • 3-5 years sales experience

  • Technical or mechanical experience preferred

Additional Eligibility Requirements:



  • Must pass all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings

 


Pay Rate: Starting at $49,871.63 annually
