Job Summary

The stocker is responsible for verifying that products are stored properly, replenished when necessary, and inspected for wear or defects

Placing raw materials in their primary bin locations each night.

Core Responsibilities


  • Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors.

  • Sorts, counts, boxes, labels, and ensures pallets are correct by reading each label and determining that the number of boxes on each skid tag is correct.

  • Completes a Nonconforming Material Report (NCMR) on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

  • Replenishes and reviews overflow rack for materials and places in the appropriate bin/shelf locations and accurately updates/maintains overflow inventory documents.

  • Operates lift trucks and/or pallet jackets for loading or unloading pallets.

  • Cleans and clears the bin locations of scraps to prevent trip hazards.

Qualifying Experience


  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 2-3 years of experience working in a warehouse preferred.
