The position is within the Trade Management team, supporting Equity Swaps business. The applicant will be responsible for capturing trade bookings, chasing for client allocations, setting up of new swaps, resolving client queries, resolving trade breaks (clients & trading books) and resolve/action control exception reports. Applicant will also have the opportunity to have client contact and will be fully involved with FO liaison on a regular basis.

  • Book new trades (Total Return Swaps and Portfolios) and hedges according to terms established by Equity Swaps/Delta One traders
  • Answer client queries (of both Americas and European-based clients) related to confirmation of trades, trade breaks, allocation discrepancies, corporate actions
  • Ensure timely trade bookings (T0) and settlements, resolve trade fails/DKs, reconcile and address breaks
  • Processing for Brazilian corporate action bookings and dividend entitlements in close coordination with Sao Paolo trading/Corporate Actions desks and Asset Servicing groups in London/Singapore
  • Understand and use PrimeSwap, the front-to-back trading/settlement system, and Prime View, the web based client reporting system.
  • Gain an understanding of PrimeSwap architecture and Control Account processes.
  • Learn and understand how Equity swaps are structured and how cash flows are calculated
  • Investigate and resolve cash breaks relevant to the team's clients.
  • Establish relationships with assigned clients and provide excellent client service.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects to improve processing efficiency for front to back business partners..
