Tetra Tech invites you to consider a rewarding opportunity within our Superior, CO office as a Staff Hydrogeologist (Scientist I).

Responsibilities :

The position will include providing support to technical staff on a variety of environmental projects. Typical tasks may include (1) participating in environmental field work (sampling, lithologic logging, aquifer testing, etc.), and data entry/analysis; (2) support of flow and transport modeling, engineering design, and GIS analysis projects; (3) assisting with compilation and presentation of technical data for reports. The position may also include providing contractor oversight on environmental and construction projects.

Qualifications:

0-2 years of experience, preferably in the environmental field.

Must have strong computational and computer skills. Experience with ArcGIS, databases, and/or EVS/Leapfrog is a plus. Applicant must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Attention to detail, strong oral/written communication skills, and an ability to quickly learn new skills are required. Should have a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred.

Degree Requirements :

BS in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. MS degree preferred.
