Strengthens the employer-employee relationship through collection and analysis of employee feedback, identification of primary areas for improvement, and resolution of workplace issues.
Recruit, attract, source, and hire top talent; hourly and salary employees.
Measures and tracks employee satisfaction and morale using key performance indicators, engagement surveys, and employee focus groups.
Develops overarching employee engagement strategies based on employee feedback and division-wide culture change and retention goals.
Develops and administers employee programs (e.g. engagement events/initiatives, recognition programs, an employee of the month, etc) and larger-scale improvement projects such as training videos, leadership training, communication projects, and employee committees.
Creates and maintains internal communication methods including digital board postings, bulletin boards, weekly newsletters, monthly plant presentations, etc.
Demonstrate and model the highest ethical standards and treat all employees and coworkers with dignity and respect.
Foster a culture that is positive and engaging for all employees
Provide general HR and recruiting support as needed. Some assignments may include providing support in other areas under the instruction of the plant manager. Works under the direction of the Human Resource Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and previous employee relations experience preferred.
Ability to handle confidential personnel information discreetly and maintain accurate complete and current records.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.
Proficient knowledge in MS Office applications.
Effectively communicate both verbally and written.
PHR/SHRM-CP Preferred

Supports the implementation of HR programs, communications, and initiatives.
