Job Description:
Inclusively is seeking candidates for a remote Merchandise Planner and Buyer position for a global apparel retailer.
The individual will be expected to:
- develop, execute, and communicate financial merchandise plans and strategies, including annual sales, gross margin, and inventory plans
- Communicate with management and cross-functional teams on a weekly basis
- Analyze trends found in data and evolve analysis tools as needed
- Collaborate with merchandise/design team
- Create skus and depth of inventory
- Develop price reduction and exit recommendations, as well as forecast annual and seasonal shipments
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of retail/merchandise planning and analysis
- Experience with planning systems and applications
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators
