Responsibilities
Dematic is currently searching for a Director, IT Process Excellence, to join our growing Information Technology team in Atlanta, GA. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Information Technology, and will lead the overall Technology Governance for Dematic by developing, refining and ensuring adherence to Technology Best Practices in the areas of IT General Controls, Incident, Change and Problem Management, Audit, and Continuity planning.
The ideal candidate will foster collaboration with other technology leaders and team members to provide objective measurements and subjective guidance. This will ultimately drive accountability for IT and Technology, by creating effectiveness measures that work towards the strategic objectives of Dematic. This position will focus on collaborating closely with all levels of our business organization, as well have direct exposure to C-level executives. ROLE SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
DELIVERY ASSURANCE:
Direct and manage all governance activities including administration of the Program Management Office (PMO)
Coordinate the design, build and maintenance of various project management methodologies needed to support the department’s core services
Liaise with IT Business Partners, functional and operational leaders, processing IT needs and requests and managing project and enhancement pipelines
Establish and direct a global Release Management process, coordinating global, local, functional and cross-technology platform impacts
Responsible for production control, release and change management, ensuring all approvals and protocols are met before moving to production systems
Ensure team develops documentation and training programs to assist in meeting business needs
Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with vendors and consultants to address support and project activities
Oversee the Technology Change Advisory Board (CAB)
IT EFFECTIVENESS:
Work closely with the CIO and designated staff to implement and monitor IT Effectiveness programs and related metrics, including quarterly and annual OKRs
Oversee the development, communication, implementation and currency of robust information & technology governance processes, policies and practices
Coordinate the development and deployment of IT related training and awareness for Dematic employees
Oversee all technology audits and coordinates technology staff to participate as necessary
Monitor and confirm IT General Computing controls by performing compliance reviews in support of external audits
Ensure that the IT department is meeting or exceeding previously agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs)
Develop and manage the enterprise business continuity strategy and plan for technology
Formulate and guide the adoption of IT policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
Update and maintain all policies and procedures relating to Technology Governance
Guide the activities of and complies with vendor licensing requirements through internal audits
Ensures adherence to relevant administrative processes
FINANCE:
Guide and direct annual budgets, consolidating financial data and recommending plans to IT leadership
Direct the activities of the monthly forecast review for IT operating and capital expenditures
Achieve financial objectives by planned activities, analyzing variances monthly and communicating outcomes with IT leadership
Ensure annual IT chargeback to business operations is supported by demand and utilization
Establish processes for periodic evaluation of global licenses ensuring appropriate licensing levels, re-evaluating need, and confirming cost / budget alignment
VENDOR MANAGEMENT/PROCUREMENT:
Coordinate regular vendor reviews, in partnership with Procurement, to ensure performance and re-baseline cost
Develop and manage vendor contract repository for all technology agreements globally

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related areas of focus; Master's Degree or MBA preferred
Preferred 12+ years’ experience managing large scale technology projects
Preferred 15+ years’ supervising professional staff in project management, information systems, system acquisition and implementation, or business process re-engineering
