Water Quality Sales Lead (open to remote) at Cargill in Hopkins, Minnesota

Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Water Quality Sales Lead will develop our strategy, sales teams, and processes to achieve revenue targets for Cargill Salt Group's water teams. We seek an experienced professional who will provide us with a strategic vision and tactical direction while overseeing and directing the responsibilities of employees. In this role, you are our representative in promoting and selling Cargill Salt's products and services. This individual will lead the Water Quality East sales team that is responsible for a broad mix of emerging, regional, and strategic accounts.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the Cargill Salt business growth aspiration.


• Participate in planning, developing and delivering the marketing strategy for Water Quality East customer base in coordination with the other Sales, Category Management, Technical Service, and Product Line leaders.


• Establish and implement sales expectations that include short-to-mid-term plans that have an impact on business results aligned with Cargill Salt Group objectives.


• Supports the development of key customer relationships. 


• Promotes communication, alignment, coordination, and collaboration across Cargill Salt Group


• Develops a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Location: This position may be a remote position based in the eastern half of the United States. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree 


• Minimum of six years of related work experience


• Ability to travel up to 50%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS    

• Three years of supervisory experience


• MBA preferred


• Commercial experience


• Salt industry experience
