Project Manager at Cognizant in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

We are looking for Project Manager for an immediate need. This is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Scope of Work:

• Working as part of the platform modernization project management group within Retirement Technology, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing project deliverables and  teams, to complete infrastructure technology upgrades and end-of-life projects.

• Will be responsible for ensuring a complete technical definition of project scope, including impacted areas, technical platforms affected, and potential impacts to Retirement's business areas, as well as weekly reporting, issue escalation and project financial tracking

• Will project manage end-of-life application component upgrades, application rewrites, risk initiatives and application server upgrades.

 
Responsibilities:

• This Project Manager will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects as part of the platform modernization portfolio and should be comfortable with working in that environment.

• Projects will be largely technical in nature and candidates should be comfortable with handling very detailed project deliverables in an infrastructure space. 

• Experience with data center upgrades and Cloud a plus
