We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician Planner - General in Breinigsville, PA.
This position will be responsible for coordinating resources required to accomplish planned jobs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Primary areas will include preparing job plans and coordinating planned work schedules with production. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planned and unplanned maintenance work, which incorporates cost, importance, labor, materials, etc. The planning of the work is to ensure that when the work is scheduled it can be completed with the least interruption to operations and the most efficient use of maintenance resources.
What You'll Do:
Must be able to work in and promote a team oriented and "Safety First" environment. Safely, efficiently, and effectively work to attain department and brewery goals and objectives. Help ensure "No bad beer leaves the brewery".
Plans, schedules and coordinates maintenance activities, both planned and reactive, to allow efficient execution of maintenance work. Understand the full extent of the work order to prepare/order the required materials.
Daily management to maintain 2-4 week complete 'ready' back log that is in alignment with production needs for areas of responsibility.
Provide labor and costs estimates
Work with area and walk the job in order to develop complete job packages
Define Job plan (work instruction and required safety documentation)
Prepare required parts kits and other work instruction
Required equipment or special tools
Required labor (person and duration)
Required permits and drawings
Requisition required parts
Coordinate with storeroom personnel and procurement to ensure kit is complete within the required time line.
Proficient utilization of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Complete and close work orders to facilitate equipment histories
Incorporate requested work order changes/revisions, and/or improvements into the CMMS
Updates Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance activities
Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM's).
Use of daily management to track status of spares, including those being rebuild
Perform regular reviews to identify obsolete parts. Work with central Storeroom to remove parts no longer needed.
Scheduling
Calculate work center labor hour capacity
In collaboration with assigned operational area, create weekly maintenance schedules based on work center capacity and priorities of the production areas
Organize, direct and coordinate weekly scheduling meetings with area owners/operations.
Finalize and communicate weekly maintenance schedules
Tracking of schedule completion including carry over work.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma and applicable technical knowledge required.
Mechanical or Trade school degree
Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities and/or related field.
Strong computer skills. Competent in using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Experience in the installation and repair of mechanical equipment required.
Experience and knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices a plus. Allen Bradley and Modicon experience a plus.
480v 3 phase knowledge required.
Experience and or knowledge of VFD's, control systems (PLC's/HMI's), electrical protective devices.
Excellent mechanical troubleshooting ability.
Experience with participative leadership and time management.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills.
Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) a plus.
Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E preferred.
